Turns out (we just learned this the hard way) at SFO in International Terminal A, the Amex Priority Pass limits hours to the lounges.

Virgin only allows Priority Pass members in until 1 pm each day and Air France stopped accepting it altogether recently.

My husband stopped trying after that but you might have success at the Air China lounge?

Smart taking the earlier flight as Iberia has absolutely no obligation to accommodate you if you miss their flight do to a delay on your other flight.

You can use any One World lounge.

Alaska and AA have new lounges albeit in the wrong terminal.

British Airways sometimes limits admission as it’s a small lounge.

Cathay Pacific just reopened their lounge.

So the best lounges at SFO are the United Polaris Lounge and Virgin Clubhouse lounges.

Both of these are not OneWorld Alliance.

I would suggest you go to either the Cathay Pacific Lounge or the British Airways Lounge.

I would use the Amex Platinum to get into the SFO Centurion if by myself.

I was recently in the Air France lounge, and it was nice but nothing spectacular.

You will be going from a domestic terminal to an international terminal.

If you had a Chase priority pass card you could use one of the restaurants in the domestic terminals for brunch, then head into the international terminal.

You could potentially do a bit of lounge hopping to see which lounge you like best.

If you have AMEX Platinum, then Centurion SFO lounge.
