My luggage recommendations are either Samsonite, TravelPro, Briggs & Riley, or AWAY.

All of them are great and fit your criteria.

My 2 cents is to stay away from flashy brands like Tumi & Rimowa because they don’t have a lifetime warranty and are more likely to get stolen.

I have had the Samsonite Winfield Hardshell set for the last 10 years and it is great.

Been to almost 65 countries with it and the hardshell can take a beating.

Has a 10 year warranty and over 20,000 reviews on Amazon too!

One of my handles recently broke (from 9 years of normal wear and tear) and they replaced it free of charge.

Another nice thing is that it is quite affordable.

Briggs & Riley is great because it has an unconditional lifetime warranty.

It is a bit pricey BUT you won’t ever have to buy a replacement (in theory).

      Love my Briggs & Riley.

Been all around the world with it and never had a problem checking it here, Europe or Asia.

Ebags Motherlode Weekender is what I hear recommended most commonly, normally $150, and on Black Friday it was on sale for $80.

Amex Platinum has a targeted offer for $25 off and Rakuten is offering 15% back.

I bought one for me and one for hubby and saved >50% (I had been eyeing it for a while…)

I’m a big fan of either Samsonite (10 year warranty) or TravelPro (lifetime warranty).

I have the Travelpro Platinum Elite Softside Expandable 22 inch.

The expanding feature is clutch because it shrinks when you are flying the carriers with no overhead space.

    Big fan of Away Luggage!

    I can’t recommend it enough!

It is affordable, stylish, and most importantly if anything breaks, they just FedEx you a new one and you send back the broken one.

No need to take it to a repair shop.

Regardless of what you buy, make sure you have a bag that has 4 spinners instead of just 2.

Way easier to pull in an airport and plus you can stack your backpack or laptop bag on it too.

I personally use this 21-inch TravelPro expandable carry on suitcase.

Think I paid $150 for it 2 years ago and very happy with it so far.

I would personally stay away from Amazon Basics Luggage!

It is cheap BUT is it cheap for a reason…

Also don’t forget that if you are going directly from the airport to the client site, people may judge you if you roll in with an Amazon Basics bag.

If you are going to be on the road a lot, then I personally suggest investing in something you know won’t break easily while traveling like either Briggs & Riley or Tumi.
