What’s Best Istanbul Hotel With Sea View Using Points?
We’re likely planning a trip to Istanbul, Turkey next year and would like to redeem some hotel points.
Do you have any suggestions for the best Istanbul hotels in the mid-range category that offer accommodations with water views?
I have the following hotel points:
- 50,000 Hilton points
- 50,000 Marriott points
- 30,000 Hyatt points
- 10,000 IHG points
I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed with all the Istanbul hotel choices available.

If you haven’t stayed at either of the Four Seasons Hotels in Istanbul, you haven’t truly experienced Istanbul.
They are the best hotel stays I’ve ever had.

During my two visits to Turkey, I opted for cash payments for my accommodations instead of luxury brand hotels.
I managed to book 4-star hotels for under $100 in various cities.
My suggestion is to check the cash prices before using a significant amount of points, as Turkey is known for being very budget-friendly.

Turkey is generally affordable, and in terms of using points, I don’t think it’s the best option.
You can likely find better value with Airbnb.
However, if you’re looking for a luxurious vacation experience, then by all means, go ahead.
