What’s Best Credit Card For Car Rentals In Nashville?
I’m looking for recommendations on the best rental car program and credit card to use for renting a car.
I’ll be flying in and out of Nashville.
I’ve used Hertz, National, and other companies, but I’m not sure which option is best for earning points.
I have an Amex Platinum, Amex Gold, Chase Sapphire Preferred, United Club card, an old Chase Freedom, and a Bonvoy Brilliant card.

With your AmEx Platinum card, you get elite status with several car rental companies.
You can pay with any card. I recommended the Chase Sapphire Preferred.

I usually book through Costco, but Hertz has had some good deals on electric vehicles lately that let you earn free nights.
In my opinion, Nashville Airport has a decent car rental setup.
If you have status with any of the companies, it’s even better.
It’s a short walk from baggage claim and doesn’t require a shuttle, which is great, especially when returning the car.
