What’s Best Credit Card To Pay Rent?
My landlord offers the choice to pay rent with a credit card for a 2.5% fee.
Is it worth it to gather points over the year?
Which card is better: the AMEX Blue Business Plus or the Citi Double Cash?
I plan to get the Bilt card eventually, but I can’t yet because of the 5/24 rule.
Note: I have other ways to meet minimum spending requirements for new credit cards.

A 2.5% fee?
I believe it’s much better to use a business credit card for your rent payments, especially while working on a sign-up bonus

Depending on your rent, that could add up to a significant amount.

Do you have a Chase Ink Cash?
You could purchase no-fee Visa or Mastercard gift cards at 5x points and pay your rent in multiple $200 installments.
This is how I pay my kids’ tuition.
It takes time, but worth it to earn 3x Ultimate Rewards points after the 2% fee.
Otherwise, no, I wouldn’t recommend using a 2x card for something with a 2.5% fee.
