• What’s Best London Heathrow Hotel Connected To Airport?

Posted by Aubree on February 1, 2024 at 3:14 pm

I am arriving pretty late in the evening at London Heathrow (LHR) and would like to spend the first night in a hotel connected to Heathrow airport.

Are there any LHR hotels that are in the terminal?

Looking at the map I can see Heathrow hotels near the airport but I am looking for Heathrow hotels inside airport.

I’ll be heading to my actual London hotel booking in the morning.

I just prefer to travel during the daytime when alone

Thanks for any recommendations on what’s the best Heathrow hotel connected to airport.

Hilton Garden Inn and Aerotel are closest and pretty much within walking distance/inter-terminal airport transportation ride.

Hilton is next to Terminal 2 and Aerotel is attached to Terminal 3.

Holiday Inn Express is attached to Terminal 4 and also Terminal 5, nice and not too pricey considering the free breakfast.

I usually stay in Hounslow though, 3 stops on the tube, and quicker than waiting for the shuttle.

Sofitel at Terminal 5 would fit your needs perfectly.

No need for a bus, taxi, Uber etc.

I have stayed several times at the Marriott Renaissance Hotel at London Heathrow.

They have a bus service called the HOPPA bus and it services the main hotels around the airport.

Yes, we also stayed at the Heathrow Marriott last year.

Not close enough to walk, but very easy to take a local bus from the terminal.

The bus stop was less than a block away.

We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn London Heathrow Terminals 2 and 3 last October.

It is connected to the airport.

You don’t even have to walk outside.

    VERY convenient.

    Highly recommend!

There are Premier Inn T4, Holiday Inn Express T4, and Ibis hotels all well-priced with shuttles.

I’ve stayed at all three and never had any problems.

Which terminal are you landing at?

They are quite far from each other.

The Sofitel is inside Terminal 5.

Short walk (covered walkway) from Terminal 4- The Hilton, Crowne Plaza T4, Premier Inn T4 and Holiday Inn Express T4.

    Terminal 3 has an Aerotel.

I usually use the hotels at T4, as already mentioned as the transfer around the airport is free.

There are also standard buses that serve T2/3 which is the transit terminal, they will take you around the airport and connect to most hotels.

You’ve also got your standard Uber etc and the Hoppa bus which I find expensive, especially as you’ll probably need to get back to the airport for onward travel.

    Hi Aubree,

For a hotel connected directly to Heathrow Airport, the Hilton London Heathrow Airport Hotel is a great option.

It’s linked to Terminal 4 via a covered walkway and offers easy access to the airport.

There are also other options like the Sofitel London Heathrow located at Terminal 5, which is very convenient. Both hotels should provide a comfortable and hassle-free stay for your late arrival.

    Safe travels!
