What’s Best Luggage For Frequent Flyers?
Posted by Rosa on March 12, 2024 at 6:54 pmInquiring about recommendations for high quality luggage.
My husband and I frequently travel, typically undertaking 2-3 flights annually.
What brand of luggage do you prefer or recommend for such frequent travel?

I recommend Samsonite, you can find them at TJ Maxx or Marshalls for $100-$150, and it is a great choice.
It performs well and comes with a 10 year warranty.
I have firsthand experience with its durability, during a year of weekly travel by air or bus while working on tour, my Samsonite luggage remained in excellent condition.

I am unwilling to invest a large sum of money in luggage, as it’s essentially a consumable item, especially considering how roughly baggage handlers treat it.
It never fails to surprise me when my bag returns to me intact.

AWAY has been my trusty companion for several years now – countless business trips, cruises, and trips abroad.
My only suggestion is to get a darker color.
I have a light pink and it scuffs easy.
They sent me a sponge thing but I’m inherently lazy.
My husband’s dark navy doesn’t show scuffs.

There are several great types of luggage out there but always look for a good warranty.
That is really important.
Also what type of bag?
Do you want hard sided, soft sided, rolling duffle?
I really like them both.
They have great warranties if anything happens.
I also really like a good compression on the inside.
My Beis also expands which is great when on a trip.

I love Delsey luggage!
I have a hard side suitcase and carry on, and my husband has a soft side suitcase.
We love them both and they have held up to years of abuse.
The customer service is fantastic and the warranty is great.
After 6 years of use, one bag had a broken wheel.
We contacted customer service and they sent out a brand new bag as a replacement.
Highly recommend Delsey!

I have Briggs & Riley which I bought three years ago.
Very happy.
Prior I had another brand called Andiamo.
They lasted for 10 years and we traveled at least 6 times a year.
Both were guaranteed for life but we outlived the other company, which went out of business a few years ago.

Travel Pro but get the ballistic nylon versions, not the cheaper polyester that won’t hold up and looks scratched after 2 trips.
Briggs and Riley but they are pricey.
They hold up beautifully though.
I was a device rep and had those bags in and out of my car daily for YEARS.
They aged so nicely considering the abuse.
My company paid for them though so it was easier to pay the premium.
