Which Hyatt Hong Kong Hotel Is Best For Globalist?
Looking for Hong Kong Hyatt hotel suggestions, please.
I am going for 6 nights with a suite upgrade award next July.
I’ve never stayed at the Hyatt Regency Tsim Sha Tsui.
It looks dated, but it’s a great location.
I have been to the Hyatt Centric Victoria Harbour Hong Kong, it has a less desirable location but is super new, with well-designed rooms, and a great view of the water.
Don’t know how breakfasts compare.
Which would you choose?
I’m a new Hyatt Globalist and will book additional Guest of Honor rooms.
I’m leaning toward location since I’ll be showing my niece and nephew Hong Kong for the first time.
I wish I had more points for the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong.

If you are looking for the best location, the Hong Kong Tsim Sha Tsui is most central but it costs more than Hyatt Centric.

I just stayed at Hyatt Centric Victoria Harbour for New Year 2024 and it was great.
The rooms are quite large (for Hong Kong), very modern, and half the rooms have a view of the harbor.
There isn’t too much in terms of things to see or eat around North Point area but the MRT station is just 5 minute walk.
It takes about 20 minutes to get to Kowloon and you have to transfer once.
We picked Centric over Regency because it was 12,000 points vs 18,000, and we needed 2 rooms for 3 days, so we saved 18,000 points.
Hyatt Centric was great overall but if you are there only for a few days, and can spare the points then Regency is probably more central location but Centric is probably a “nicer” hotel.
