The confusion or conflicting information arose from differing terminology used for entry requirements – “Visa-free” vs. “Visa Required” vs. “Visa on arrival”.

• “Visa-free” indicates one can enter with just a valid passport, without obtaining a travel visa first.

• “Visa required” denotes a visa application must be submitted prior to traveling to the destination country.

• “Visa on arrival” – for US citizens, securing a Visa on arrival must be obtained upon arrival to Bali but can be secured online.

Drinking tap water in Hong Kong is not a problem, as I experienced during my previous visit.

The only situation where I would avoid it is if I were staying for a long time in an old or poorly maintained hotel or building that has not been updated for over two decades.

It is not safe to drink tap water in India.

You can buy bottled water for a low price.

On my trips to Asia, I bought some travel items that can transform into different forms, but I think you can find them online too.

I have a JanSport Driver 8 backpack that has skate wheels and shoulder straps that can be hidden.

You can roll it, hold it, or wear it on your back.

I also have a pair of jeans that can be turned inside out, so it’s like having two pairs in one.

I’m thinking of going to Portugal for 10 days in autumn, maybe in September or October.

I’ve heard that the weather is nice, and the places are not too busy.

It’s good to know that I can get around easily by train or bus.

You seem like a seasoned traveler, Raj.

How many countries have you visited?

I’ve only seen eight so far, and Portugal will be my ninth.

I’ve really been enjoying using this bag myself.

It seems very durable and well-made.

However, my wife mentioned that while she thinks it looks great, the weight makes it less ideal for her to use as a backpack.

She said it would work much better as a rolling piece of luggage instead.
