I think it’s a waste of money compared to other options available and I’ve never found the best flight deal available on there in the year that we have had it.
I’ve always been able to go directly to Aeroplan, Virgin Atlantic, Air France or British Airways and find a better deal.
Seats.Aero has alert functionality and allows you to search multiple airline pairings.
Point.me is slow and only allows one airport combination at a time.
It is a pain.

If you plan to travel to Europe more than once, I personally would buy a travel hair straightener and travel hair dryer.
They are super cheap, like $15.
The voltage converters never work properly and can damage your electronics so better to have a dedicated device for Europe.

If you haven’t stayed at one of the Four Seasons Hotels in Istanbul, you’re missing out on experiencing Istanbul properly.

You can absolutely use Capital One miles to pay for anything that’s categorized as travel.
It doesn’t matter if you book directly with the airline or through Capital One’s travel portal, once the payment goes through, you can use your miles to cover the cost.

I have 60,000 stuck in my Turkish account.
I need to figure out a good way to use them now.

My best advice to staying hydrated while flying:
1) Avoid alcohol, coffee, and salty snacks.
2) Drink lots of water before, during, and after the flight.
I fill up my water bottle before I get on because the flight attendants never give me enough water.
You can always go up and ask for more though.
3) I supplement the water with travel packs of Liquid IV which is a hydration multiplier.
Works wonders!
4) Try and sleep on the plane if possible.
Helps with grogginess.

I just flew that route in first class and the wifi barely worked.
It is free for first class and $18 for everyone else.
It worked for 1-2 hours after take-off but didn’t work over the North Pole, which was most of the flight.
It was pretty slow when it was working and also only worked on the phone and I couldn’t get it to connect on the computer.
I forgot who the provider of the wifi was but it wasn’t very good so I wouldn’t count on it working.

I’d recommend getting the cheapest small or medium car because they are eligible for an upgrade to President’s Circle.

I wouldn’t go to Liberia for just a weekend because the resorts are too far away from the airport to make that work but would recommend it if you have more time.

We took the new Etihad A350 in business from ORD & really liked it.

We use the Samsung Smart Luggage Tags (as we all have Samsung phones), they work the same as Apple, but with the Samsung network.
Saved our butts last Christmas with that Southwest craziness.

Departing out of DUB, AMS or BRU can save a bunch and cheap flights/trains can get you there or you make it a side trip.

I booked on United with miles last July.
The flight was Air Canada from Maui to YVR, then Edelweiss Air from YVR to ZRH, and Lufthansa from ZRH to MUC.
One ticket and checked luggage went all the way through but those are all Star Alliance partners.
I would either call beforehand or make sure you ask at check-in.

Nope, I wouldn’t risk it.
They sell bottled water for 0.25 cents there so just drink that.
