I had a straightener that worked with 120-220 volts, but I accidentally melted my converter.
So, I bought a 220-volt straightener locally to avoid more problems.
Plus, I blew a fuse when I plugged my powerful US hairdryer into another converter! No joke!

We have used Turo a few times.
The owner reviews are really important.
There was one rental that was a little difficult.
We went to pick up the car and there was no T mobile cell phone service where the pickup place was, so we can’t upload the pictures of the condition of the car at pick up.
Thankfully it was within hours when someone was there (it was a company) and they had wifi to upload it, but it was still a much longer process than expected.
