If you are from the US, you are much better offer getting a free Charles Schwab or Fidelity checking account, because they reimburse for all ATM fees worldwide and the accounts have no fees or minimum.
Wise is good for paying in local currency but if your credit card has no international transaction fees, then it is better to pay with your credit card.
Wise is best for transferring money online between currencies but the card isn’t that useful if you are US based.

Seems you need to book via T-Mobile page and the rate is worse than booking normally.

There are quite a few YYZ airport hotels that have free shuttle.
Only Sheraton is attached but it just depends how much money you want to spend for an overnight layover hotel.
We stayed at Four Points Toronto Airport and it was fine.
You might even find some good point redemption options.

Yes, it’s useful to have a PIN on at least one card.
Bank of America cards are easy to set up with one.
I’ve needed it for buying train tickets.

I think the 90-day period applies to transfers from other Avios partners like British Airways to Iberia.
You should be able to transfer Ultimate Rewards points to a new Iberia account immediately.

There are no direct flights from anywhere in the US to Bali, so you have to stop somewhere regardless.
Eva Air is quite nice, as is Singapore and Cathay Pacific.

I booked directly thru Hertz, paid with Chase Sapphire Preferred, damaged a car in Switzerland and Chase paid, no problems.

I mean, it comes down to how you value the flights.
But yes, your way is probably a reasonable way to approximate.

I might be off, but I think the science on it is that planes have reasonably good filters and masks protect others from the wearer more than the wearer from others, so masking isn’t really that helpful unless everyone is doing it.
I wore a mask when traveling with a minor head cold, but didn’t wear the mask on the way home when I felt better.

I love Westjet and chose to get their WestJet MasterCard with RBC, it doesn’t get the best possible points earned but instead of some confusing points I earn straight up Westjet dollars that I can easily view on their app.
I’ve overall had great experiences with Westjet and hope they continue to expand as their overall service and scheduling is much better than Air Canada.
Also, check Porter Airlines they seem to be making big moves to expand to Western Canada and could be a potential for connecting flights

Was there last month at Hertz.
I declined everything I could but ended up paying for some type of insurance.
The rental ended up costing just about what I had at Avis as a backup.
If you are Hertz Gold, they drive you to the airport personally, not the bus.
