Make sure you keep an eye on them and scrutinize your bills if you decide to cancel.
I enrolled in a free trial at the airport and canceled shortly afterward.
Despite receiving written confirmation of cancellation, I still got charged for the full year on my credit card.
I had to reach out to them again to get the charge removed.
It was a lot of time wasted.

Since they’re based in Europe, they’re probably more familiar with rentals that cross borders.
Just to be safe, check the fine print while booking to see if there are any fees for taking the car on a ferry to Scotland.

Haven’t stayed at the Ritz Carlton Kyoto but Park Hyatt Kyoto is my favorite hotel in the world.
I got a little turned off by Marriott after our stay at the St. Regis Osaka last spring.
I think if you stayed 2 nights at Park Hyatt you would wish you’d stayed all 3.
Plus, moving hotels is a pain.
If there’s availability for your dates, definitely book it.
We stayed 2 nights in May when I was Hyatt Explorist and it was the only truly flawless hotel stay I’ve ever had.
Just went back the week before last for 4 nights and it still didn’t feel like enough.
This time I was a Hyatt Globalist so got breakfast every day and it was fantastic.
I pretty much wish I could just move in and make sure to build in time to enjoy the spa / onsen facilities.

There is a fee, usually $25 if you do it with more than 24 hours’ notice, plus an extra fee if you call in since you didn’t do it online.
They will deduct that amount from the taxes, at least British Airways and Qatar Airways do it that way.

SkyTeam is the airline alliance.
They do not issue frequent flyer accounts or points.
Flying Blue is the frequent flyer program for KLM and Air France.
They will give you an account number where you store your miles.
You can earn and redeem miles on any SkyTeam partner like Delta.
You cannot however transfer your miles between the SkyTeam airline programs.
Delta’s program is called SkyMiles.
You can again redeem and earn miles on any SkyTeam partner like Air France or KLM.

As said before called with a reasonable alternative – it shouldn’t be a problem.
I had to do something like that with United recently and it was an easy fix.

The Capital One Lounge at IAD is located in the Main Terminal, just beyond the TSA PreCheck Security check point, with access from Z Gates, via escalator or lift.

I stayed at the Hyatt Regency LAX.
It was nice and boy did it make me glad I’m a Globalist and paid with points.
Parking was $75 per night!
Thankful mine was free : )
