I’ve started traveling with a company called Overseas Adventure Travel and they don’t charge single supplement fees.
Great prices and the price includes airfare but you can book your own using points.
They also offer referrals so when you refer someone you get credits or cash back.
I did the Amazon and Galapagos this year and booked Delta first class with points and got referral credits.
It was an amazing trip!!
Heading to Africa with them next year.

Royal Caribbean has some ships with a few solo, inside cabins.
A workaround, perhaps, is to get someone willing to have their name used for the booking, and then if there’s a big discount on the second person, use their name and get a relatively lower price.
People fail to show up for cruises all the time.
Your price won’t change because they “couldn’t make it” to the ship.

I really like Transavia.
A lot better than Ryanair.
I have only flown them from Eindhoven

MemberApril 15, 2024 at 6:34 pm in reply to: Can I Redeem Capital One Miles For JetBlue Flights?Sure, here’s the deal.
You’ll need to move your miles over to British Airways first, and then from there to Qatar Airways.
To get started, you’ll have to sign up for accounts with both airlines.
Now, here’s the tricky part: it seems like Qatar Airways wants you to have a few Avios (that’s their loyalty points) in your account before you can even start searching for flights.
Navigating this process can be a bit of a maze, but it’s doable.
Once you’re in, you’ll find that there’s usually plenty of available seats if you’re okay with economy class.
But, if you’re aiming for those fancy Mint flights, well, that’s where things get a tad more complex.
There’s another option, though: Etihad Airways.
It’s a bit easier to work with, but the catch is, the prices might not be as great, especially if you’re eyeing those JetBlue flights across the Atlantic.
Signing up for an Etihad account is straightforward, and it won’t cost you a dime.
Once you’re in, you can freely check for available seats on their website.

You need to be able to separate it as its own bag or it could be counted as a personal item or a carryon.
Not all gate agents will call you on it though.
One lady had food and water for her service dog and a few other things in a small bag and they charged her for a carryon.
She was super irritated as it was supposed to count as a medical device (the dog was a medical alert dog).
So she just boarded and was going to take it up with Frontier when she got home.
We travel with my son’s scoliosis brace which is a medical device and it needs its own hard case and can’t be checked.
I usually put coats in the middle of it because it helps it from collapsing, but my family knows the drill that all those coats might have to come out of the medical device bag and we might need to wear them on the plane and then repack them once we are in the plane.
I usually tell the gate lady we can put them all on right now and then hold up boarding by repacking once we are in the airplane.
they have let us pass with the coats in the bag, but a medical device is supposed to be only medical device.

I used PointsYeah to find the availability and booked it online via the Turkish Airlines website.
No calls or issues.

Additionally, Globalist treatment has been great at the Regency in terms of upgrades.
Their breakfast buffet was amazing as well.

Sushi Samba on the top floor is not to be missed.
But the real experience is the new Atlantis Hotel, definitely go for a visit, the hotel is like an art gallery.

It was an exception due to strike action….

I’ve used one of mine at Waldorf Astoria Chicago.
Which property are you looking at using for the certificate?
The relatively short exclusion list for FNCs is found here.

Unfortunately, at O’Hare there is only 1 Priority Pass Lounge and it is in the International Terminal 5.
You also can’t access it after 3pm because Business Class passengers use it for other airlines and they won’t let you in.

In general, Virgin will be cheaper for nonstop and Air France will be cheaper for connecting itineraries

Great question!
In October I flew BOS-Amsterdam-Nairobi and returned Nairobi-Dubai-BOS.
I can get to JFK easily enough and was wondering about shaving many hours off the flight.
