No, you can’t transfer directly transfer Citi Thank You Points to United Airlines.
You can transfer points to their Star Alliance partners.
I personally use Lifemiles.

We stayed at the Grand Palladium in Jamaica on Wyndham Points earlier this year and there was no additional charge for our child.
With that said, the woman checking us in had never heard of Wyndham’s status, in fact, she acted like she had never heard of Wyndham.
The woman who checked us out was aware that they were in the Wyndham program.
I don’t think they get a lot of points bookings so I wouldn’t be surprised if they were inconsistent.

I’d recommend it too, nothing is worse than starting off vacation sick

We did a canyon-guided trail that went up waterfalls.
We also spent a week in Tamarindo which is right on the beach.
If you go there be prepared for “American” pricing.
Other areas should be a better value.

I’ve had issues with it lately for flights to Tokyo.
It showed lots of availability for JAL First and business from multiple different airports.
And when I got to AA, it either came up but unbookable (phantom?) or didn’t exist at all.

No, you can use any credit card for Delta flights and still get the free checked-bag benefit because it is tied to your Delta frequent flyer account, not to the Delta credit card.
So feel free to use your Capital One travel credit on Delta.
You will still get the free checked bag.

These hotels generally have a similar cash price point depending on the time of year, so you probably won’t get an equivalent cost per point or better at the Hyatt Regency.
The real reason you might want to switch is that the Hyatt Regency is actually on Waikiki Beach and you’d have to walk a short distance from the Hyatt Place to get on the sand.
You’re Globalist, so free breakfast either way.
If it were me, I’d go Hyatt Regency so you can possibly get an ocean view upgrade or better and enjoy the oceanfront experience.

From JFK take the Air Train to Train Terminal – Jamaica / then take the train to Penn Station.
Only takes around 30 mins and is fairly easy.
You need to buy a ticket at the end of the air train to get into the station, then either download the LIRR app to buy tickets into Penn Station or you can buy from the ticket booth.
It’s really easy and I find it quicker and cheaper than a cab or Uber.
