Definitely set up a PIN for at least one of your cards before you go. A lot of places in Europe, especially ticket kiosks or gas stations, will ask for one. It’s not always needed, but it’s handy to have just in case. And with tap-to-pay becoming more common, you might not even need it much, but it’s better to be safe.

Yes, you can technically use a VPN in Saudi Arabia, but keep in mind that the government blocks certain VPN services. Some VPNs work fine, while others may be restricted. It’s a good idea to test a few options before you go, and make sure to stay updated on any local laws regarding internet use to avoid running into any issues.

If you like sushi, Takato is great, very fresh and have a cool atmosphere. The Foxy Brown would be definitely a place to go for brunch and it’s cozy and food’s amazing. Always a win for something a little more upscale, if you want to get a little further, Louie Bossi’s is always good.

If you have an Amex Platinum card, the Centurion Lounge is a great choice.

It’s comfortable and has a wide range of food options.

But if you want something more relaxing and quiet, the Cathay Pacific Lounge is the place to be.

It’s not as crowded and the food is a step above the usual lounge snacks.

It’s definitely a good atmosphere to relax in before your flight.

The new JAL First Class check-in at Haneda looks classy, but honestly, it’s just a fancy waiting room. No drinks or snacks? Come on, JAL, you can do better. The lounge and flight, though? Absolutely worth the 90k AA miles—those are the real highlights.
