American Airlines Award Stuck On Request With JAL
Have an AAdvantage reservation on partner Japan Air that has been stuck in “on request” status for over 4 days.
Multiple calls to AA yielded no movement in the status.
I’ve been told multiple different things by multiple different agents; the first agent told me 24-48 hours, and then up to 72 hours, and then now up to a couple weeks.
I know this is not normal, I have booked AAdvantage partner awards before, and all of them are ticketed within 2-4 hours max.
However, none of the agents I spoke to said they could do anything about it and all I can do is wait.
I’m at a loss as to what to do now.
