Avianca Lifemiles Keeps Asking Me For A Credit Card PIN
Trying to book a redemption with Lifemiles, but I cannot get it to go through.
Looks like they want a PIN to go with my credit card but I don’t ever use a PIN with my Chase Sapphire Preferred and don’t even know what it is.
Is this normal?

I think you can put any four digits in there, but yes, you do need to enter something. I don’t think I’ve ever set a PIN with the card I use either.

I called Chase and the very helpful rep told me to enter 0000 and that it would default to credit. It worked! Just got a great redemption too, whew!
