Does Staples Allow Split Payment Across 2 Cards When Purchasing Gift Cards?
Does anyone know if Staples will let you split the Visa $200 gift cards across two credit cards?
I have two AMEX gold business cards and with the new $20 rebate each month and the next time that Staples has the no-fee Visa gift cards I’m wondering if I can get $40 off that one $200 gift card with my two biz gold cards.

Most of the time will depend on your store if they allow it.
The Amex Buisness Gold does also specify excludes Giftcards but it might work similar to how the personal gold restaurant credit and the plats Saks credit.

It flat out says in the T&C No gift cards for the credit so let us know how this works out

Yes, and it’s a good way to prevent the automated “searches” that the system does to void out gc transactions.

I don’t think it’s worth making Amex angry for $40 a month

I am pretty sure based on the terms that a GC won’t work: Eligible purchases do NOT include fees or interest charges, purchases of travelers checks, purchases or reloading of prepaid cards, or purchases of other cash equivalents.

Staples notoriously provides L3 data to notoriously clawback happy AMEX.
