Does United Airlines actually weigh carry on bags to make sure they are correct weight?
Redeemed 7,500 Turkish miles for a flight with United. The UA fare code is X. According to Turkish Airlines, the bag allowance is a carry-on bag of up to 8kg. Does United actually check the weight of carry-ons? I know some airlines actually do weigh the bag at check-in.

No United doesn’t weigh carry-on bags. Outside of low-cost carriers like RyanAir, the only airlines I know that weigh carry-on bags are KLM and Swiss Air.
