• FYI avoid Holafly for esim

I imagine many of us might find ourselves needing phone connectivity as we travel. I want to warn you about an eSIM company that has been a recent problem for me.

Holafly was quick to sell me eSIMs for my RTW trip (in progress). Then I changed my primary phone service to T-Mobile, and my plan includes unlimited data/msg. Perfect for me so I can still navigate while on the go.

I contacted Holafly – who adverts that you can get a refund for up to 6 months after purchase – and for the past two weeks, they’ve balked at refunding my two orders (two phones).

They have about $900 US and I want it back. So, heads up; they’re obviously not my favorite company right now.

Thanks for sharing. If they aren’t giving you a refund, then you can file a chargeback with your credit card company and get a refund.

Damn, it’s like pulling teeth to get the refunds sometimes.

I’ve been using Google Fi and was flawless when we traveled to Japan (Okinawa and the main island) during the Summer.
