• How do I pay an individual using Bilt?

I’ve looked all over Bilt but how do I pay an individual?

My landlord takes payment from us through Zelle.

I haven’t applied for the card but accidentally was accepted into some other Bilt points card.

There’s no such thing as some other Bilt points card, we’ll need more details.

You can pay rent without a credit card only to a property management company in the Bilt Alliance – which your individual landlord can’t be.

If you had the Bilt Card, then you could have them mail your landlord a check and earn the points. They can’t Zelle though.

They will send the landlord a physical check that’s drafted from your bank account and you will still get the points that way. You can set it up in your account.

Bilt Rewards is a free program but as far as I know there is only 1 card associated with Bilt. You need that to be able to have a check mailed by Bilt on your behalf or via echeck. Don’t believe that works with Zelle.

If you are paying with Zelle or Venmo, Bilt gives you a bank account number that you use to connect to those services. I have done it without issue.
