How early does the Lufthansa check-in counter open in the US?
Does anyone know how early I can show up with a checked bag for Lufthansa in the US?
Couldn’t find anything on their website.
Flying out of SFO in business for an evening flight and thinking of arriving early to enjoy the Polaris Lounge (and beat the traffic).

Most desks open 4 hours before departure

Unless they have 2 flights a day, checkin starts about 3.5 hours before scheduled departure.

I would call Lufthansa. At some airports they allow you to drop your bags the night before.

In our experience (SFO and BOS) 3 hours.
