• I Combined UR Accounts And Now Can’t Transfer Points

    I got P2 to combine his Chase Personal and Business accounts.

    Now he cannot transfer Ultimate Rewards points.

    He gets an error message.

    Also, the accounts that show up as linked under his account no longer include my account which we added a few months ago.

    I suppose that’s an issue he can call about and re-add me.

    Has anyone had this issue?

    Hoping it’s just taking time for everything to sync up.

    Somewhat stressed because he is a reluctant P2 until it comes time for travel and he hates being on the phone dealing with this stuff.

    You can only link 1 frequent flyer account to each card account.

    Really silly.

    So you can transfer the points between the cards to the account that is linked.

    You have to call in to do this.

    I had the same issue.

    I found out after calling Chase that only 1 frequent flyer account can be linked to 1 Chase account.

    So for example, 1 United account can’t be connected to 2 Chase Ultimate Reward accounts (if you have 2 INK cards for example).

    You have to call Chase and transfer the UR points to the account that is linked to the frequent flyer account.

    It is a bit annoying but oh well.
