• Is it worth it to pay to access the Air France Lounge at CDG?

Flying AirFrance Premium Economy SEA-CDG-FCO. Close to a 5-hour layover at CDG. Looks like we can access the AF Lounge in 2F for 60 euros each. Does it make sense?? Thanks

It’s a good deal for such a stretch of time but I wouldn’t spend 5 hours in a lounge.

Hop on a train or cab to Roissy or other nearby neighborhoods for fresh air, walking about, and some much better than lunch food. Likely be cheaper than 120€ too

The lounge in 2F is quite good- newly renovated and they have champagne

Arriving from the US you also have to clear passport control- just keep that in mind it’s always tricky at CDG.

I would not head out for 5 hours. Just do the lounge and enjoy.

It took me approximately 2 hours to clear immigration during May of this year from IAH to CDG to VCE. CDG was packed!!! That was with no delays with disembarking the plane and the plane heading to a gate. A lounge stay would be more reasonable versus leaving the airport and coming back in.
