Recommendations For Private Car Driver in Bali?
We have a trip to Bali for one week coming up soon.
Looking for any recommendations for activities.
I heard hiring a private driver is probably the best way to go.
Any recommendation for a private driver or the best place to look for the information? Thanks.

We stayed in Bali for a month this year. We compared what we were spending on Grab and AirAsia rides to hiring a private driver and it would have cost us double to hire a private driver. And we never had a problem getting a Grab or AirAsia car within about 15 minutes.

We were there last month and hired Zayen for several days. Highly recommend!

We were there in 2019 and hired a private driver for the whole stay. His name was Made and his email address was [email protected]. He came highly recommended, and he really made our trip fantastic! We learned so much about Bali from him. But be prepared, the traffic there was terrible! It took a long time to get anywhere.

Bring some covid test kits with you and any possible medications you may need. There is no place to buy covid kits there (my boyfriend got sick while there, and certainly didn’t want to go into a medical office to get tested).

The best money I spent was hiring a professional photographer who is also a tour guide. He hired the driver as part of our package. It’s a great way to go if you want beautiful family photos.

Another way to do it is to download apps like Klook/Grab app (their version of Uber) and use them for both inspiration and the actual activities themselves. Regardless, highly recommend those apps for airport transport – have dedicated areas for the driver to pick you up.
