What is Passport validity requirement for US citizens entering Switzerland?
Does anyone know the passport validity requirement for entering Switzerland for US citizens entering via the Netherlands? I’ve seen both 3 months and 6 months.

The official policy is 3 months by government authority if the passport is less than 10 years old which is likely. US Gov recommends 6 months.

Note that it is 3 months from the departure date, not arrival date.

Also, check with your airline. They frequently have their own rules and may deny boarding.

If you are flying from Netherlands, they won’t check your passport but if your passport is less than 6 months, then EU might deny you but not sure.
