When Does Chase Sapphire Reserve Hotel Travel $50 Credit Actually Hit?
1Headed to Scotland NEXT July. If I use my Chase Sapphire Reserve and pay now, non-refundable, can I get the $50 hotel credit for the booking this year… like now? -

You need to use the Chase Portal to book the hotel and charge at least $50 on your CSP to get the credit.

I’ve only used it once, but I paid upfront/non-refundable and got the credit 4 days later, a month and a half before the stay. I can’t say for sure it would be the same if the stay is actually within the window of your “next year credit,” but I’m guessing it would work the same way and you’d get it quickly since you’re making the payment now and it’s non-refundable.

Yes, you will get the $50 after the charge hits your credit card. It doesn’t matter when the actual stay is. I do not know a way to use it on a non-prepaid stay.
