It takes like 3 days to get there. Anything less than a week, I wouldn’t go there. If you are going for 3 days, don’t waste your time and money, the opportunity cost is too high. Better to enjoy romantic cities like Paris or Florence or Vienna for such a short visit!

Been to both and they are both quite different. Conrad had better food options, the WA has a more luxurious overall feel. I stayed in the Muraka Underwater Residence and that makes the Conrad very unique.

If I were to go back to either, I’d do the Waldorf Astoria for the ambiance. Just do the Conrad as I can’t imagine it’s worth doing 3 nights anywhere in the Maldives, let alone the WA. We did 7 nights and it was on the back end of a 3.5 week Asia trip, but we could easily have stayed 10 nights if we didn’t have a life to get back to in the States.

Can only speak to the Conrad. It was fabulous. 5 days there again sounds like heaven.

For such a long journey 3 days feels too short. I’ve never been one to go somewhere for more than a few days I thought I would be bored but after 6 nights I was disappointed leaving.

Don’t do 3 days, even 5 is cutting it short at the Conrad for the effort to get there. You will love the Conrad. I did an overwater villa and got upgraded to the grand overwater villa for no cost which was incredible. I am diamond and it was during Covid so they were about at 33% capacity so I don’t think this is the norm. We are going back next year and doing the beach villa due to having a baby. No matter which room you do, you won’t be disappointed. I know the standard overwater villas are a little small, but still large compared to a normal hotel room.

Waldorf Astoria transfer is a bit more expensive than Conrad, but you would get more time at the resort. We have been twice and only waited about 30 minutes before leaving for the resort. On the return, our flight was at 7 pm and they allowed us to stay all the way up until 5 pm.

Been to all three multiple times.

Waldorf Astoria is the best. Best hotel points redemption in my opinion. Hilton is definitely better than Conrad. Conrad is a little run down in my opinion.
