    If there’s an inquiry that’s where they inquire, so yes.

    But depending on the bank, there may be no inquiry.

    Best to assume there will be one.

    Nope, only Capital One Business cards do.

    I think one USB Business card also did but normally will not, unless don’t pay your bills.

    Most banks aside from Amex (usually) will do a hard inquiry for business cards, and that appears on your report.

    They won’t post to your report as an account or impact 5/24 though, aside from edge cases like certain Capital One cards.

    If you give them your SSN, yes it’s quite possible.

    This morning I talked to Chase and they told me that I’ve had five inquiries this year–I got two personal and two business cards with them.

    And then the fifth inquiry came last month when I applied for another business card and got denied.

    They told me it’s too many inquiries as one of the reasons for denial (after three recon attempts).
