No, as of right now, you don’t need a visa to visit Europe if you are a US citizen.

You just need a US Passport and you can stay for 90 days.

I just use the airline’s provided mobile app.

That is free and has most up-to-date info.

I was able to get a flight for my mom mid March from JFK to BCN connecting through Amsterdam on KLM through Flying Blue for 11,250 and $82.50 in fees and taxes.

Not seeing it that low now, but I do see 15,000 with Air France.

AA Mileage Multiplier is always a horrible deal.

It comes out to three cents a point.

AA miles are valued at 1.5-1.7 cents.

    Not a good deal!

Go to Squaremouth.com and plug in your particulars.

They do not require much data but you get many choices and can tweak the coverage ranges to get what you want.

All-inclusive hotels aren’t really a thing in Europe.

Many Swiss hotels include breakfast in the rate which is nice.

Chamonix in France is really nice, as is Zermatt, Switzerland.

Both of them you can take the train from the Airport and don’t need a car.

Shhh…the Apple people think they’re the only ones here.

I would only recommend Samsung, Apple, or Tile.

They all depend on compatible devices and apps to be located.

Obviously, you get the one that is compatible with your phone.

Tile is compatible with both Apple & Android but I’m wondering about the number of Tile users nowadays.

They all rely on their network of phone/app users to locate the device.

So, there has to be a Galaxy user nearby to relay the location to your phone 5,000 miles away.

The same is true for the other tags.

So, you have lesser chances of a Tile being found if nobody in the baggage handling bowels of the airport has the time Tile app.

They used to be the market leader because they were first but I don’t know where they stand now.

India has somehow regressed when it comes to credit card acceptance, in the decades I have been going (my wife is Indian).

I was recently there and almost 50% of places will tell you either that their card machine is “broken” or that their machine can’t take foreign credit cards.

I suspect they don’t want to pay the card processing fees, now that UPI exists.

In 1 single day, I went to a famous well known sit down restaurant in Mumbai and their card machine “couldn’t connect” so I had to walk to the bank and get cash, and then later that same day I went to a dentist and the same thing, his machine couldn’t take foreign cards, so I had to go back to the ATM.

If you are visiting and don’t want to deal with cash, then I highly recommend getting UPI because many places just don’t take card anymore.

Is it a mainline train from Newark Penn Station, or some local NJ Transit thing?

Are you sure you want to stay in downtown Newark rather than Manhattan and getting the train there?

Depending on the age of your kids and how rested everyone will be, I would definitely pay at least 50% over the rental plan to just have a car waiting for me.

That’s a long, nasty late-night trip on a Saturday night.

Pretty sure you can move them back freely but when I did it for the Chase Sapphire Reserve, Chase told me it had to be Visa to Visa or Mastercard to Mastercard.

They wouldn’t let me move a Visa to Mastercard.

Take the DART bus (free) from DAL to Inwood / Love Field Station (about an 8-minute drive).

Catch the Orange Line ($3) to DFW (about 35-minute ride).

Drops you right at Terminal A.
