Not directly but you can use Capital One Points to book AA flights.

I have done that in the past.

I’ve stayed at the Sheraton (a Marriott property) attached to YYZ and it is excellent.

    I’d definitely stay there again.

If too pricey there are many other chain hotels close by with shuttles.

But leaving the airport would cut into your time at the hotel.

As mentioned above, you could essentially erase the purchase with points, but that will be at 1 cents per point for Ultimate Rewards or 0.6 cents per point for Membership Rewards, which is a poor use of points.

Use the SpotHero or ParkWhiz apps to book cheaper parking near your hotel.

As far as I know, Bilt is trying to add the option to pay your mortgage with their card.

But I don’t know when that might be ready.

    Short duration?

    Chase Sapphire PreferredChase Sapphire Reserve.

Need longer (and in some ways better) coverage?

Opt-In for the premium coverage offered by American Express (flat rate around $15-20 paid per rental).

Have American Express Platinum and renting from Hertz?

    Utilize your Platinum benefits.

I used Wyndham to book resorts in Punta Cana and hotels in Europe, and got some great deals.

Plus, I also used Vacasa for booking.

They can be booked with partners.

Singapore Airlines is part of Star Alliance so run award searches via Star Alliance airlines that are also transfer partners of the flexible currency you have.

I just did this last week and had to call in to complete the booking properly.

It did cost a few more points (like maybe 1-200) but it was still around 6,000 each.

Some great comments on here already but in my view, as an insurance professional who has a CSR and many cards that provide basic car rental primary or secondary coverage, you should just take the rental car coverage and pay for it.

It’s peace of mind in a place where accidents and theft are common.

Sure it costs more but having less worry can make the trip so much better.

Driving in Cancun or Cozumel isn’t that bad and gives you a lot more flexibility.

We were just at the Kimpton Vividora.

It was nice and the service was great.

Super close to everything and has an amazing rooftop view of the cathedral.

Rooms (especially bathrooms) are a little small but we weren’t in it much.

Had a free happy hour every evening which was a good way to socialize.

The breakfast buffet was good though was the same every day.

They did have some menu options as well.

Far and away the COR Surf Travel Backpack.

Got it on Amazon for $94.

Great warranty too and super tough to boot.

My husband and I each have the 28L.

Because we’re not fully retired we have to take work with us. I can fit my laptop, 2nd sidetrack screen, iPad, toiletries, and clothes for a week in it.

Straps tuck to carry like a suitcase if needed and it opens just like a suitcase.

Also has two ‘secret’ security pockets, great for passports and cash.

I’ve tried many and will never try another.

If you’re close to Kroger stores, I use my grocery cards to buy gift cards to Amazon, Target, etc for my usual spending.

They have occasional 4X fuel points promos, so buying $250 in gift cards gets you $1/gallon off for up to 35 gallons (if you use the full amount you basically get 14% back on gift cards plus whatever earn rate for grocery).

I just flew into Paris and didn’t need a passport.

I’d check the US and Paris immigration sites though.

That being said, Air France’s app had a list of documents I needed (just my passport) and I uploaded it into the app.

I rented from Hertz in Palm Springs last year.

It was a lot of fun to drive and it could go very fast.

Charging was not so much fun.

I used the Chase Ritz card which did not exclude Teslas for coverage.
