You should need the Chase Sapphire Reserve.
If the Venture comes with Priority Pass (I think only the Venture X comes with PP), then technically yes, but you need to check the Priority Pass app to see which lounges are eligible.

Personal Items are typically never checked but carry on typically is.
If you are flying Basic Economy or Spirit, or Frontier, expect that they will try to extract more money out of you with the baggage.
Better to be safe than sorry.

Taking public transit it takes forever.
I think the direct route via Uber or taxi is worth both the time and money.

We are here now in Playa Del Carmen and flew into CUN.
We used MeetPlaya for transport.
That was the cheapest we found for private transport.
Also, you don’t have to pay the visitax.
This is our third trip in 18 months and though there are signs everywhere no one has ever asked us to show we paid it.
We decided we would just wait to do it if someone asked for it.

I snowboard and my husband skis.
We live in Virginia, so we don’t have the greatest options, but Snowshoe in West Virginia is decent.
We adored our trip to Salt Lake City a few years back and found it relatively affordable.
We specifically went to Solitude and Snowbird and loved them both.

Unfortunately, both being partnered with United doesn’t matter.
They (Aer Lingus / Egypt Air) need to be interline partners with each other.

Amex is a soft pull until you accept the card on your first one.
Then if you accept it’s a hard pull.
Also, I would skip the BBP until you have an Amex and get targeted.

I think Hard Rock is still in the Wild Card system.
So might still be able to match from MGM Gold to their current system.
