My 9 yo niece says she won’t fly unless it’s with Delta (we flew Spirit once, and it wasn’t good)
She’s only flown four times and we’ve had great experiences with Delta every time.

Even if you have had a criminal conviction (non-felony), it doesn’t mean you will automatically be denied.
The key is to be truthful in the application.
I knew someone who had a DUI that was pled down to careless driving, but she admitted it on the application (they said they could see it) and she was approved.
I also know someone who answered no, and they were denied because they had a misdemeanor conviction they didn’t know about 30 years prior (when he was in college).
He had pled “continuance for dismissal” and was told it would be off his record in a year.
Turned out it was entered as a guilty plea.
He pulled his record from the county he was convicted at to see, he had no idea.
He appealed his application saying he only found out 30 years after the fact and they approved his application in the end.
They charge the $100 up front and you are not refunded if you are denied.

Absolutely loved Great Scotland Yard last year.
Great staff, cool hotel with a lot of history (was old Scotland Yard HQ back in the day), and a wonderful location.

ORD is a dead zone for non-airline lounges.
No AMEX lounges or Capital One lounges and only 1 crappy Priority Pass lounge in the International Terminal.

None of the banks transfer directly to AA.
You have to get AA cobranded cards or check British Airways to see if the flights you want are available, then transfer there.

I highly recommend Val Gardena, right in the heart of the Dolomites.
As far as I know there are no all inclusive type of packages, but I’d love to answer any questions ☺️

United is better than Qantas for the long haul.
Plus, if you can transit through SFO it’s much smoother and easier than LAX on Qantas.

Milan is amazing! Great food, art and shopping.
Highly recommend buying tickets to see The Last Supper now.
We were there earlier this year and had to get our concierge to get us the last 2 tickets available because they sell out months in advance.
It was an incredible experience that isn’t a last-minute booking.
We also went to Teremilano for the most amazing spa experience ever.
My suppliers took us to Lake Maggiore for the day and it was beautiful.
I highly recommend as an alternative to Como.

I’ve rented from Alamo and Avis with no issues from SJO.
You need to have the letter from the credit card that is in the drivers name and has the card number and states that they cover CDW.
You will still need to pay the other insurance that is required.
Plan on $15 per day added on top of whatever your quoted rate is.

It’s in the D terminal near D22.
There’s occasionally a wait to get in so you may not have as much time as you planned to enjoy it.

Had a sort of similar situation, I had a flight canceled and needed to get to the other airport in Houston.
Travel insurance covered my hotel and the pricy Uber.
