Check if there are any available seats for awards on Qatar Airways.
If you find some, move your Capital One points to British Airways.

Back in 2019, when I visited, they had a wine and cheese hour in the small café for diamond members.
There were only about two of us there.
Also, instead of offering free breakfast, diamond members received a $40 voucher daily for food.
The place is fantastic for brunch, but you’ll need to Uber or drive there.

Luggage straps can sometimes slip off the bag and end up in the baggage handling belts.
This might not happen with yours specifically, but really inexpensive ones from certain countries can break very easily.
And when they do break, your bag could get stuck in the baggage system or even get damaged because the strap gets caught on something and doesn’t release from your bag.

When we recently flew on Q-Suites, the Wi-Fi was reasonably priced at $10, but unfortunately, the network was down for the entire flight.
However, a few months ago when I flew Q-Suites, the Wi-Fi service was great.
So your mileage may vary depending on the Wi-Fi availability on the specific aircraft you are on.

Assuming it’s one ticket and your bags will be checked through to FLR (or you’re going carry-on only) and the flight is even close to on time, you should have no problem at all.

I don’t know about AA but on Vueling (the low-cost carrier of Iberia), I made a booking and didn’t know they don’t do the 24 hour free cancelation like in the US.
I filed a chargeback with AMEX.
It was eventually denied and Vueling banned my email address from booking tickets, so I had to make a new one.
Thankfully I didn’t have any miles in the account.

You probably just need to add your AA frequent flyer number to your BA booking.
Hopefully that fixes it!
But I know BA also has super weird rules like they charge paid business class passengers a fee to pick a seat.
Also my brother had an issue where he had One World status but was flying a basic economy international ticket and they wouldn’t let him check his bag for free, so you never know what is going on with them.

No cards allow direct transfer except Bilt Rewards (which has no annual fee).
You have to figure out partner airline programs.
