If you are able to fly that cheap across the pond, I would hold on to your points and just book the revenue ticket.

It never hurts to ask for a few more miles.
In my experience, they often just grant that.

Really your only options are:
1. Mileage Run (some first class fares get extra elite miles)
2. Buy The Miles – (SAF would cost you $500)
3. Alaska Credit Card Spend (but $10,000 would only get you 2K elite miles and you had to register for it ahead)
4. Hope for a promotion in the new year that will allow you to keep your previous status for flying x miles

Any delay will most likely make you miss your flight.
Don’t forget you have to clear security as a transfer.

There is a Spirit Bank of America Card, no limits on churning yet.
Hopefully, I’ll be under 5/24 soon so I can get a bunch of Chase INKs and then go crazy on Spirit.

Have you tried going onto your account on Oceans to make sure it’s in the system correctly?

You’d have to cancel Bold or upgrade it to Ritz (highly recommended).

Yes AMEX personal cards count towards 5/24.
Only business versions don’t count.

ATMs are the way to go, although I just spent 2 weeks in France and England and the only cash I used was to leave a tip for the housekeeping staff.
Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, uses contactless credit card or Apple Pay for pretty much everything.

Amex provides the digital number right away but I’ve heard rumors that you don’t start earning towards your sign up bonus until you receive the physical card.

We’ve stayed there and it’s a very nice Hilton.
