If you have lots of business spend, I’d recommend using an INK card and just rack up points.
You can then just use those miles to fly business class on any airline.
That is what I do.
I earn around 300k Ultimate Rewards a year.
No sense in staying loyal to any specific airline.

You can’t transfer JetBlue points to flexible currencies like Chase or Capital One.
Points can only be transferred in one direction from the credit card companies to their travel partners.
This applies for all airlines and hotels.

Have you tried entering the booking reference on SAS’s website (I know it sounds weird) and choosing from the seats that are available for free in economy?
You can find them by making a fake booking directly with Turkish Airlines.

It works for me with my Ink card, so I expect it to work on the Chase Sapphire Preferred as well.

They typically do give retention offers to cover the annual fee.

The “damage” is done so make sure you at least earn the sign up bonus on that instead.
As for the Ultimate Rewards program, you do need one of the 3 cards to be able to transfer points out to Travel partners.
Those are the CSR, CSP, or CIP.
This is a per-household thing so if you have a spouse that has any you can use those too.
Once you complete the Venture X spending then move on to getting the Chase Sapphire Preferred.
Mostly for other people that will read this next time don’t close a card and instead try for a downgrade instead.
In your instance downgrading to the Chase Freedom with Ultimate Rewards would have kept your points safe, had no anuual fee and provided you with a card that has the 5x rotating quarterly bonus categories.

I have used Turo once in Hawaii.
There are 3 different levels of insurance, and I think I added the middle just to be safe.
My personal car insurance covers rentals as well, but I’d rather have extra just in case.
