Oye, I’m 5 months into waiting on my renewal.
It’s technically expired in October but there is a note about the extension, just doesn’t say how long.

They don’t cover anything like that.
My trip was interrupted because I had an accident and I couldn’t reach my final destination.
I had to buy a separate ticket to return from another city and that was not covered.

Haven’t used United but when I purchased SFO to ARN through AA, I had to claim my bag at JFK and recheck it with Finnair (booked as same ticket through AA) then go back through security.
Rechecking bags was required in both directions.
I would call the airlines to be sure.

I have found once the card shows up in your account you can go to “Manage My Wallet” in the app on the phone and then add the card from there.

Yes, I did this recently.
I flew in on Etihad First Class but the connection was in 2 cabin Business.
I was able to enter the First Class lounge and restaurant.
Didn’t have any issues during my 12 hour layover except 1 time, when I had to explain the policy to the door person and asked them to speak with their manager since they weren’t familiar and didn’t want to let me in.
Make sure you retain the boarding pass with the first class segment just in case.

Everyone is going to start crying this is cycling but my personal experience of about 6 figures spending a month on Chase says they don’t care.
I pay my cards at a minimum weekly and sometimes even twice a week if I have a big bill.
These are business cards and my Business relations manager told me they don’t care.

Transferred to Turkish for a United flight from the West Coast to Hawaii.
It was 7500 miles per person one-way, in economy.

I can’t say much about if it’s worth that amount of points but the product itself was good.
I booked from HAN to HND business for 45k delta miles and it was a 4-hour flight, definitely wished it was longer because I enjoyed it and wanted to stay awake to enjoy it lol.
The seat fully turns into a bed.
I’d say go for it if you value a good experience!

Once you deduct all MQMs for Diamond status for 2024, any remaining MQMs can be used toward the 100,000 for 2025 and beyond.
Any leftovers can also be converted to MQDs and/or Skymiles.

I used United miles to book on Agean (Athens/Amsterdam) and it was well worth it for us.
ITA is so inexpensive on those short flights, that it’s usually better to pay cash.

My experience with GE was similar.
Within days I was notified of approval.
Also already had pre-check and Real ID.
A few weeks later I did the interview at JFK upon arrival from Zurich.
Just walked in with no line.
In and out in 10 minutes.
