Always try Googling “transfer partners for Bank of America points” for answers to these questions.
It’s simpler than asking other members for opinions.
When you do, scroll down, and you’ll find this:

We rented a 3-bedroom apartment through Booking.com in Abu Dhabi, which turned out to be much more affordable for the six of us compared to hotel options for a whole week.

FYI Egypt Air is a dry airline.

You would need to book through Flying Blue.
When you search flights you will see which ones are operated by Etihad, KLM, Air France, Virgin, etc.
If you don’t see it as an option, then that means there are no partner flights available.

I like Hyatt House LAX or Hyatt Place LAX for the free breakfast and the rooms are quite big.

Yes, you shouldn’t have an issue earning miles or completing your sign up bonus if you use Paypal.

Always double-check insurance questions by reading the explanation of benefits that come with your cards.
Otherwise, call Chase or Amex and ask them explicitly.

It’s not a good enough deal to transfer points unless you were already planning to transfer points there.
The flexibility lost by transferring to one particular airline vs. leaving the points with Amex until you have a particular redemption you want to use them for is not worth the 10% extra miles.
Even the 25% or so bonuses that they have to Virgin or Flying Blue sometimes often aren’t normally worth preemptively transferring points.
Of course, the bonuses are great when you actually do have a need to transfer the points to that airline, though!

BOM-SFO is flown on ex-Delta planes so much better hard product with closed-door suites.
Pretty comfortable in my opinion.
The food was average at best.
The flight attendants were kind but the service was a bit unorganized as per my experience.
They forgot/confused our orders a couple of times and used glasses weren’t collected for hours.
Not a big deal honestly but I’ve flown Qatar and Etihad the last few times so I’m probably making a biased comparison.
For the points price I paid, I still found it worth it.

No, it isn’t enough time unless you want to gamble and run thru the airport.
Better to take a later flight if it is an option.
If there are no other options, then take it but prepare to have bags be delayed in the event you do make your flight.

Delta moved all their operations to Terminal 5 at ORD.
There is also a new Delta SkyClub there.
Terminal 5 is NOT connected to the other terminals, so you have to take a bus / train to the United terminal.
