Paris airport is notorious for being slow at everything, I personally would not risk missing the flight over a few hours of sightseeing.
You might end up spending more time in the line instead.

I would never have bought them myself but I was gifted one and it is amazing for my checked luggage or in a carry on that might get gate checked!
I love being able to see if my bag is in the airport I land at so I’m not stressing at baggage claim.

If you’re short only a few hundred Alaska miles, can you just use their shopping portal to get some stuff instead of buying the additional miles?

I make the reservation in my name and then I list them as an extra guest and call the property to tell them they will be checking in before me because “my flight arrives in the evening”.
Never had an issue with it.

So if you sign up in Oct 2023, then the credit expires in Oct 2024.

If you book with LUV vouchers and then cancel that reservation, the $ becomes flight credit and those do not expire.
