There have been no reliable data points that anyone has gotten approved when they are over 5/24.
Those who say they were, miscounted their cards.
You have to be under 5/24 to get a Chase Ink.
But Chase and most others do not add to your 5/24.

For Israel, as everyone’s saying, credit cards are accepted widely.
Amex here and there.
I would recommend having some cash for vendors, flea market shopping, and for small donations at holy sites (getting a red string bracelet at the Western Wall, for example).

Yes you can.
Use Expert Flyer.
A space is 25k upgrade.
If you see a bookable 130k it can be saver or flex.
I pay cash regular economy all the time then upgrade with points.

From that list of 3 cards, I would definitely go Chase Sapphire Reserve or Venture X over the JetBlue (B6) card.
If you were a heavy B6 flyer with checked bags often then maybe it would be worthwhile but otherwise, flexible points currencies are king.
Both the CSR & Venture X cards have their strengths and not quite weaknesses but rather not standouts.
Would you be using lounge access a lot to justify the higher AFs?
If not the CSP may be a better fit and then get some Ink cards to boost your points balance.
