Here is another tip for Avianca.
I lived in Colombia for 6 years.
Set your language to Spanish and currency to COP and get your prices in Pesos.
Then switch to miles.

Capital One Venture X has Priority Pass and is free to add authorized users.

We’ve always done it on arrival with no problems, but you can also do it in advance.
Just make sure it’s with the correct website as I’ve heard there are a few scam ones.
Don’t go from Google – go from an official Indonesian government site

As the Capital One Venture X card is a Visa it cannot be used to pay a mortgage.
But you can pay, or over/prepay, utilities and other bills to satisfy the spending requirement.
Insurance payments are a big one for many.

I’d put it on the AMEX Blue Cash Preferred.
I always put iPhones on cards with no annual fee so I know I’ll still have the card if something happens in two years.

I can’t recommend it enough!
It is affordable, stylish, and most importantly if anything breaks, they just FedEx you a new one and you send back the broken one.
No need to take it to a repair shop.

Your card will not get you anything until you have no options with Delta.

Park Hyatt Tokyo is great but it’s pretty isolated out in Shinjuku.
The only way I’d argue heavily for it is if you intend to end a lot of evenings in Golden Gai.
Hyatt Regency Tokyo has the same issue.
Grand Hyatt Tokyo is a bit more central and there’s some good food right there but I don’t love Roppongi enough to stay there.

Off the top of my head, I’d say packing cubes, power bank, extra long usb phone cord.

There is a Priority Pass lounge too in Terminal D, quite close to the Capital One lounge.

If you use Google Flights to look up that leg, it shows it has a lie-flat seat.

If you look closely in the image you posted, you will see that the 1st flight is in economy and the 2nd flight is in business, but they are charging you the full business class price.

Both are very nice and I mean very nice.
I went to Park Hyatt as an Explorist and got a nice upgrade.
Not a suite but very nice.
St Regis is in my opinion a little more elegant.
I stayed there on FHR but I only have Marriott gold status and the room wasn’t that special but I had a butler which I didn’t know what to do with.
Honestly don’t think either is a bad option.
Park Hyatt is a little closer to the nightlife of Nana Plaza and Soi Cowboy
