If you are a beginner don’t splash out for the major mountains.
It doesn’t make sense to pay a premium when you are stuck on the bunny hill all day.

Lufthansa damaged my bag.
It is embarrassing how bad Dolfi is.
Almost impossible to redeem unless you email them.
In the end, they did send us a replacement bag to the US but it was a huge pain in the butt.

Park Hyatt in Auckland upgraded us to Park Suite, and we were really pleased with the hotel and suite.

I always offer to pay the fee, everyone has been happy to oblige.
Failing that I’d be looking for a contractor who would do that.

Yes, the points return is generally instantly but if you don’t see it after about 10 minutes, you can call to see if it can be manually returned.
