There is a difference between Capital One Venture and the Venture X some are discussing.
So just be careful as the X has more perks but a higher annual fee.
And in 2024 they’re changing some of the perks as well.

The US Bank Altitude Reserve has 3% uncapped mobile wallet, and eBay takes Apple Pay.
If you actually redeem towards travel, multiply that by 1.5X for 4.5% cashback.
US Bank will almost certainly deny you unless you have low inquiries as well as new accounts, and it would help to have an existing account (get a checking and/or business checking sign up bonus).
However, you definitely also should be doing sign-up bonuses as it is free money.
If AMEX likes you, you could be doing a Biz Gold & Biz Plat every 3 months and probably some other cards from them too, and SUBs from Biz cards at other banks basically every month, including an Ink every 3 months.
Cash-out AMEX with Charles Schwab if desired.
It seems you don’t care about status (reconsider this) but if that changes then this spend could also easily get you some airline & hotel statuses.
You might run into credit limit issues and need to use multiple cards, but AMEX biz cards and maybe Capital One could help get around that with their charge cards.

Alaska Airlines is great on giving credit back to your wallet for future travel, even same day before flight.
BUT I don’t know if that applies to Saver fares…

The Emirates counter will be open for check in for EK204 not, sadly, EK206.
They won’t take your bags.
You’ll need to hold them with you until at least 3 hors before EK204 opens for check-in.
For a late night Cathay flight, we went to the TWA hotel and just hung out.
Not optimal but the only option.

Real time updates I usually get better updates than I get from the airline.
Shows exactly where the plane is.
It is why I knew my flight was delayed a couple of weeks ago long before Delta sent an alert.
What bugs are you experiencing? I haven’t had any issues.

No, you can’t move directly to American.
Are you trying for a US to SYD/MEL award on Qantas?
They price out much higher than via American.
Can’t say on British Airways because I don’t know the current rates.
Ideally book on American but if no miles there you will have to do Qantas.
Qantas really charges super high prices for business or first awards.
I know they are less on coach and Inter Australia.
I flew them earlier this year on an American award DFW-SYD business class.
Later to Melbourne via Business.
