Capital One has its list of transfer partners.
But if you’re feeling adventurous, you might want to check out Virgin Atlantic, KLM, Air France, or AeroMexico for some sweet deals since they’re all SkyTeam partners.
Points Yeah could be handy for your search.

MemberApril 21, 2024 at 12:18 pm in reply to: When Is Best Time To Visit Masai Mara For Safari?I’m going in the second half of May, and based on my research, it looked like it would be okay.
But as always, it just depends on the weather that comes through in any particular year.
I once traveled to watch the migration based on suggested dates from previous years, but the rains came early that year and we totally missed the migration!
In May, I’m not expecting any momentous animal activity like the migration, but hoping the weather holds and we just get good general game viewing days.
I’m assuming Marriott will have the right off-road vehicles, and no vehicles are allowed off-road in Masai Mara, so hopefully road conditions don’t come into play.
But game viewing isn’t great if it’s raining, so hoping we don’t get much rain in the latter half of May.

Read the terms and conditions on your ticket.
They clearly explain the timeline and fees.
For example, my April trip, which I booked in July, has a cancellation fee of 50 euros.
My October trip, which I booked recently, has a fee of 70 euros.
The fee depends on when you booked.
I chose a refundable option, so I can cancel up until the day of the flight.
It depends on the type of ticket you booked.
Personally, I would wait since April is still a long way off.
So far, I’ve had three flight changes.

Do you have any ideas about where or what you might want to visit?
The Bund, located at the end of Nanjing Lu (a major pedestrian street), offers a fantastic view of the Pearl Tower and Pudong.
You might also consider visiting the Jade Buddha Temple, Jing’An Temple (further down Nanjing Lu), or exploring Yu Garden.
While Yu Garden can be crowded with tourists, it also features a beautiful garden where you can escape the crowds.
I haven’t visited Shanghai since 2017, but these are some of the highlights you might enjoy.

MemberFebruary 5, 2024 at 7:41 pm in reply to: Can I Book 2 Hyatt Rooms With Ultimate Rewards Points?Typically all standard rooms are available to book with points at Hyatt.
Just check whether you can book two standard rooms with cash before transferring the points.
Also, the cancellation policy should be stated on the booking screen for each rate type, including award stays.

We made the flight barely but bags didn’t make it.
Claimed and they did pay out clothes and toiletries.
For once no argument and paid promptly.

With a terminal change plus immigration clearance, it’s going to be (very) tight.

As long as that is on your booking, and has to be manually changed, you can get the benefit.

Sometimes they might, sometimes they might just say no.
Doesn’t hurt to call and ask (but just be prepared that they might not).

You can return AMS to YYZ (Toronto) in business on lots of April dates for 50k on Air France, or as far as MSP on 4/10 and 4/19.

You could always call Mileage Plus to triple-check.
I would assume their reservation team should know – SHOULD!
