We had missed our connection due to high traffic around LHR and having to circle around plus wait for a gate to clear up.
We landed 30 min late plus long lines and another 20 min wait at security due to a large number of flights all landing at the same time.
Had no issues getting rebooked on a later flight by the airline via the reps in Terminal 5 and it did not cost anything.
Bags should make it but highly recommend placing Airtags or some other tracking device in them as two of our 4 bags did not make it on our later rebooked connection for some reason and it was 3 hours later.

AsiaMiles for British Airways and Flying Blue for Air France / KLM are likely the best options.
Also repositioning to LHR for Virgin but high surcharges.

There’s an airside walkway between United’s domestic terminal (T3) and the International Terminal (G gates) where most (all?) United flights depart.
You won’t have to go through security again.
I’d say 25 minutes gate-to-gate, tops.
The risk isn’t the connection at SFO – it’s getting out of FLL on time.
Use a card with trip delay insurance to cover that scenario.

With the free Bilt Credit Card, you can pay “your rent” with Venmo and earn points without a fee.
Since it is the same amount every month, it would look like rent.
This is probably the best way to do it and Bilt points are super valuable.

Nope, only Capital One Business cards do.
I think one USB Business card also did but normally will not, unless don’t pay your bills.

If you are looking for the best location, the Hong Kong Tsim Sha Tsui is most central but it costs more than Hyatt Centric.

I stopped using my Citi card for this reason.
No 3x points for Walmart.
I use my Venture X now.

If the card is attached to your AA account, it doesn’t matter if it’s physically in your possession or not.
When you log into aa.com and go to your account summary, do you see “AAdvantage card member” under your name?
If so, the benefit is to live with or without the card.
If not, having the card may not help you.
If you don’t see “AAdvantage card member,” I’d contact Citi and ensure it’s associated with your AAdvantage number.

It took me over two months for it to show up even after emails, tweets, and chats with the reps at the rewards desk.
But I matched through MGM so maybe it took that long to recognize my tier credit spend to trigger it.

Sam’s Club has discounted Disney gift cards.
It’s only like 3% off but I think a couple of cards have cash-back offers for Sam’s.
Put those together with the points from the purchase could be a nice discount.

Just buy a cash card in person and that will fix any issues.

FRA to JFK on SQ is a very early morning departure (8 am).
It’s unlikely there’s a legal connection to it on the same day.
You might be able to book the night before.
