American Airlines has freely cancelable award flights… not saying I’ve done that before though.

Or if you want to splurge La Casa de la Playa.

I found them quite easy to use with a pretty straightforward app, but unlike Apple and Samsung’s trackers this one needs to be on a paid subscription to find them live remotely on the network.
If not on a network, it will show the last seen on your phone by Bluetooth.

No need to pay with the AA card.

I don’t know if that’s the case with CapitalOne.
I would call with the referral code and ask to apply for the Venture card.

I don’t have rent so I don’t have the card.
For me it just makes sense to have a Bilt account and get a few benefits from monthly games, trivia, linking accounts, etc.
I can pay the majority of my accommodations and hotels with other credit cards with better perks and points.
If I had rent or a mortgage that I could pay with Bilt and not other credit cards, I would definitely get Bilt!

FareDrop is not very beneficial if you are a Canadian.

I would suggest buying now.
If you don’t purchase basic economy tix, most airlines will allow for you to rebook at the lower fare with no fee, and give you a travel credit for the difference.
Of course this plan is only good if you will be able to use the flight credit within 12 months of the original purchase.
Definitely check with your airline of choice and confirm their cancellation policy, but I know this is the case with AA and a few others.
Good luck and have fun

I’d call in and see what the issue is.
Sounds like they made a tech mistake.

I paid property tax via PayPal bill pay using Chase Ink Unlimited earlier this year and it counted towards the spend requirement for sign up bonus.
Sign up bonus went pending almost immediately and posted when the statement closed.

The miles earned are all based on status, not where you bought your ticket.
It is only hotels that won’t give points if you don’t book on their site.

Crazy that the Chicago Midway is getting a Priority Pass lounge before ORD.

If they ask why, you just say your flight gets in later.
Never had any issue doing this.

The amount you spend on charging probably isn’t going to be worth it.
If you have a charger in your home, if you don’t have a charger in your home that’s another situation and I wouldn’t get an EV.
