MemberNovember 20, 2023 at 4:59 pm in reply to: What’s Best Cash Back Option For Apple Products?Honestly, the best advice is to just not buy from Apple Store.
You will get a discount if you buy it from almost any other Authorized Apple Reseller.
I bought my new Macbook Pro on Amazon last year.
Brand new and has a warranty and was 20% off compared to the Apple store.
Usually Amazon has sales during Black Friday too.
Plus you can also stack it with AMEX Offers promos.

You get 4 free car upgrades per program year with Platinum status.
They physically mail you these coupons and you need to show it when you pick up the car.

MemberOctober 27, 2023 at 3:04 pm in reply to: When Should I Pay Off My Credit Card To Avoid Fees?I have autopay set up to pay my prior statement balance on the Due Date for all my cards.
That way my balances are reported to the credit services which shows utilization.
BTW I know a lot of people say pay everything before the statement closes but that shows zero utilization and thus the credit services have no way to see that you are responsibly paying your bills.
And for the doubters out there, my wife’s and my credit scores are in the 760-820 range month in and month out.

Bilt Rewards is a free program but as far as I know there is only 1 card associated with Bilt.
You need that to be able to have a check mailed by Bilt on your behalf or via eCheck.
Don’t believe that works with Zelle.

But wanted it through Covid.
$500 for 2 people with medical evacuation.
The more expensive one is for any type of evacuation like civil unrest.

MemberSeptember 16, 2023 at 11:09 pm in reply to: Can I Use Alaska Companion Fare With Gift Card Or Flight Credit? There is no limit on how many credits you can use.
If Alaska Wallet credits cover the entire cost of the flight plus taxes using a companion code, be it.
It works.
If it doesn’t, the remaining amount will be paid by Alaska credit card.
I’ve been buying discounted Alaska gift cards from Costco and using them with a companion code to book flights.

As long as the inbound flight is on time, you are fine.
ZRH is the most efficient airport there is.

MemberJuly 4, 2023 at 6:58 pm in reply to: If I Change Flight Date, Is Credit Card Travel Insurance Still Valid?Typically when you file a claim with the credit card, they require proof that the flight was in fact purchased with their credit card.
In your case, you are able to show that you did purchase an airline ticket with their credit card, so technically you should be fine as long as they don’t look into it too much.
